NON-FUNGIBLE CASTLE
About
Non-Fungible Castle explores the convergence of the arts with NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), blockchain technology, and artificial intelligence as a creative platform and philanthropic tool to restore, preserve, and authenticate cultural heritage. This educational, community building, and impact-driven platform seeks to harvest knowledge, innovation, and human connection by bridging art and technology to shape the past and future of cultural heritage.
Beginning in 2021, we invited an international group of artists, thought leaders, patrons, and pioneers from the fields of art and technology to Prague, where we hosted a unique exhibition, conference, and cultural program.
NFC 2022 Mission
The House of Lobkowicz has made it their mission to share the past to inspire others to create the future. The preservation of cultural heritage is at the heart of this pursuit.
Non-Fungible Castle 2022 explored how blockchain technology can be used to rediscover, share, and preserve our cultural identities.
We aimed to do this by creating and exhibiting NFTs which represent different artistic forms of expression, serving as a permanent cultural record. We provided a platform to discuss how the artworld can use blockchain technology to celebrate our heritage, build a community of cultural stewards, and encourage storytelling to reconnect with our cultural roots.
“When a nation’s culture survives, so too does the nation.”
“Přežije-li kultura, přežije národ.”

VIP GALA
The NFCastle event will close with a black-tie gala to celebrate the gathering of a diverse group with a common interest in the relationship between culture and blockchain. The evening will include a cocktail reception, multi-course dinner, live entertainment and night-time tours of the exhibition and collections.
Space for the gala will be limited, allowing for more personal engagement among select conference attendees.
Fundraising Goal
Selected works in the exhibition will be sold at auction to support the Lobkowicz Collections’ charitable project: the reconstruction and renovation of Antonín Dvořák’s Birth House, which will be transformed into a new museum and international music destination with dedicated music education courses, workshops, concerts, and community enrichment programs.
